A freight partner built by people who ran the loads
VEVOR Truck Hauling started with a handful of trucks and one dispatch phone. The operating principle has not changed since: answer when it rings, quote a number you can hold, and never let a customer find out about a problem from their own customer.
From one dispatch desk to eight facilities
We began hauling refrigerated freight for regional food producers who could not get a straight answer from anyone else. That work taught us two things: temperature integrity is a paperwork problem as much as an equipment problem, and shippers do not switch providers over price — they switch because someone finally picked up the phone.
Today we run dry van, reefer, flatbed and drayage freight across the 48 contiguous states, and operate more than 945,000 square feet of temperature-controlled warehousing. Being both the carrier and the warehouse is deliberate: it removes the seam where most cold chains actually fail.
We are still privately held, still staff our own dispatch desk around the clock, and still measure success the same way our customers do — on-time performance, temperature compliance and the number of problems they had to hear about from us first.
Four rules we do not bend
Say the true number
If a lane is expensive this week, we say so. A quote that changes after booking costs everyone more than an honest rate up front.
Protect the freight
Temperature, securement and packaging decisions favor the cargo, even when a cheaper option would still technically be legal.
Answer the phone
Twenty-four hours, seven days, including holidays. A human being who can make a decision, not a voicemail box.
Document everything
PODs, temperature logs, exception notes and rate confirmations — filed the same day, available on request, not reconstructed later.
Standards we hold whether or not anyone is checking
Safety performance is the quiet foundation of on-time performance. A carrier with a poor safety record is not a bargain at any rate.
- Active US DOT and MC operating authority in good standing
- Carrier vetting on authority, safety rating, insurance and references before first dispatch
- Auto liability and cargo coverage up to $2,000,000 per load
- Driver qualification files, hours-of-service compliance and random testing programs
- Preventive maintenance schedules and documented pre-trip inspections
- Ongoing driver training on securement, temperature handling and site safety
Cold chain compliance
At our temperature-controlled facilities, food safety is a documented program rather than a claim on a brochure.
- HACCP-based food safety plans with defined critical control points
- Calibrated continuous temperature monitoring with alarm escalation
- Sanitation, pest control and employee hygiene programs
- Allergen segregation and cross-contact prevention procedures
- Lot and date traceability supporting one-up, one-down recall response
- Documented corrective actions when a deviation is detected
Need specific certifications for a customer audit? Tell us what they require and we will confirm the exact facility and documents before you commit.
Leadership and the people on the other end of the line
Small enough that you can reach the person who makes the decision. Large enough to actually cover your lane.

How we got here
2009 — Founded
Started with four reefer trailers serving regional food producers out of Texas.
2014 — First cold facility
Opened the Rancho Cucamonga warehouse to hold product between harvest and retail release windows.
2018 — National coverage
Built the vetted carrier network that extended service to all 48 contiguous states.
2022 — Coast-to-coast cold chain
Added Riverside, Newark and Joliet facilities, connecting import drayage to inland storage.
Drivers, warehouse staff and carrier partners
We hire drivers who treat a delivery window as a commitment, and we partner with carriers who keep their equipment and their paperwork in order. If that sounds like you, we want to talk.
What we look for
- Active authority and a clean, verifiable safety record
- Current insurance certificates meeting our minimums
- Well-maintained equipment, including working reefer units on cold freight
- Drivers who communicate proactively rather than when asked
- Carriers who want repeat lanes, not one-off spot loads
